For more than 100 years, the City of Chester is serviced by the Chester Volunteer Fire Department.  The Chester VFD is very active in the community and hosts multiple events throughout the year.  Annually, the Chester VFD hosts the “Fall Bash” which serves as the primary fundraiser for the department.  The Fall Bash provided many opportunities for Civic Organizations and High School Teams and Clubs to earn money for their organization.
